Say guys - I am looking at making some more updates to the website and since the club is no longer doing the 1000 islands deal, I would like some input on what to put on the "supporters" page that currently highlights that.
Maybe a "tips" page or something like that.
Thanks

I see what you mean Mark. You will also see a paragraph in the "About Us" page that is all about the kids event. I will think on it and get back to you. Still no bounce back when I test the info@foxvalleybassclub link. Tried the link on "Home" and "About Us"pages.

I also see that we do not have any photos up for 2014 except TOC shot of the champ. I will look through my saved photos and send them to you by email. Perhaps others could do the same.

I was thinking that we could change the supporters link to "Facebook". Link it directly to our fasebook site. Do we have official supporters any more after discontinuing the 1000 Island event? What are the clubs thoughts?

Good idea about linking the FB page. I was going to ask for any photos ... I have one of Brad with a nice largemouth the one of Scott and yours and that's it. I will double check the email stuff again - getting frustrating. Let me know if you guys want me to cut back on the number of photo galleries on the site too ...

I personally think the more pictures the better. But if we can post only a limited number, then I would take out the oldest Fishing for Kids photos that frees up space on the website.
I see you updated the "Supporters" page. Looks good. Haven't looked at the "About Us" page recently. The third paragraph discuss our community service projects, namely 1000 Island. Until we settle on some other project, that paragraph should be deleted.
I will review the changes with the Fox Valley Bass Club members at the Wednesday, January 21 2015 club monthly meeting. Will let you know if there are to changes.

The members thought your changes to the Fox Valley Bass Club website looked great. One of the changes that still needs to be made is the "About Us" paragraph discussing 1000 Island project. Other then that it looks great.

actually I had fixed the About Us page - it says we used to do the 1000 islands thing but are now looking for new opportunities to help the community.

To fit better into the club's current format - the website now has a "Pass it On" page in place of "Supporters". Please feel free to send me your fishing tips to use on the page.
