We should be all set for the Kaukauna Parade on Dec. 3rd. We will be entry #74, staging at the corner of Idlewild St and Riverside Dr. To get there, take east out of Little Chute and turn right on Idlewild St. Most other streets in that area will be blocked off for float staging. Mike says you can park at Riverside Park. The officials want us to be ready to go by 5:30 PM so plan on being there between 5-5:30 PM. Once the parade is over, Mike will give rides back to you cars. My wife Karla and Virgils wife Barb have volunteered to pass out candy or ride in the boat and fill buckets with candy. As of the meeting we had four or five other volunteers that would be passing out candy. (Brad, Clyde, Ty, Dave and Luba) I have four candy buckets ready to go, but Clyde should bring at least two more buckets. That should be enough to keep the candy flowing along the route. Here's a copy of the parade route. 2013 Parade Route Map.pdf (102.84 KB) Wear you FVBC jackets if you have them or something that would represent fishing. Should be fun. Call me with questions. Steve

Being that things are pretty well covered as far as participation for the parade tonight I'm probably going bail out on the parade.Too tired and run down.

Thanks to Tom, Clyde, Brad, Barb and Karla for all the help with the Kaukauna Parade event. Fox Valley Bass Club put on a great showing. We unloaded 50 lbs of candy to a bunch of wonderful kids (and some older kids as well) along the route. Even with snow and rain the crowd came out to cheer the floats. We made a last minute adjustment do to the weather and eliminated the boat. Great fun.
