Guys put Chequamagon Bay on your bucket list. Fished it with my son this past Saturday and caught 35 smallies in less than 4 hours including the 5.8# he posted on Facebook. Also caught a bonus 24" steelhead and 16" splake. Swimbaits and dropshots worked best. Water temp was 46 degrees. I miss seeing all of you at the meetings and wish you the best.

Absolutely Dan, you and any members of the club should feel free to contact me if you are in the Minocqua/Woodruff area. Chequamagon Bay is about an hour and half from me though but with proper notice could certainly arrange that.

More Chequamagon Bay fish. Took a break during the day while deer hunting near Washburn and did some fishing. Caught 14 beautiful smallies and then headed out to the Apostle islands for trout and salmon. Besides the steelhead and brown in the photos we caught another 4# brown a nice coho and good sized splake. Air temp was 34 degrees but not much wind. I will miss all of you at the banquet this year but I wish all of you a Safe and Wonderful Holiday Season. You're a great bunch of guys!
