Hey guys ... I am looking for 2 or 3 guys (or gals) with more time and energy on their hands than they currently know what to do with.
It will soon be announced that I have been named the National Fundraising Coordinator for the non-profit organization Bass Unlimited.
You can learn more about the organization here: www.bassunlimited.org/
I hope you all will consider joining - its going to be a very worthwhile organization to be a part of.
That said, we are looking to start a chapter in Wisconsin. I am looking for 2 or 3 individuals that would be willing to help organize and put on a "DU style" fundraising banquet in the Fox Valley area. My goal is for this to take place in the spring of 2018.
Eventually I would like to see at least 3 chapters in Wisconsin - one in this area, one in Madison and one in the western part of the state perhaps near LaCrosse, or perhaps up north near Rhinelander or Eagle River.
But we need to start somewhere and this is where I think the most potential is between anglers fishing the Bago and Green Bay areas.
Please contact me if you have interest in learning more.
I am also looking at starting a "club membership program" so once I get the details of that in place, I will be reaching out to the club as a group. This program will be to help clubs like FVBC to do conservation projects - like perhaps a lake or stream clean-up day, or maybe planting artificial habitat in small lakes - retention ponds around Appleton, etc. to make them better for shoreline fishing opportunities.
Thanks guys.
I can best be reached right now at boyderoutdoors@gmail
Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
